1.0
Introduction
The
Ministry of Education, Science and Technology as a Nominating Agent in the
Country for the New Zealand Commonwealth Scholarships is Inviting applications
from qualified Tanzanians for the post graduate studies tenable in New Zealand
for the academic year 2019.
2.0 Qualifications
(i) Applicants must be citizens of Tanzania;
(ii) Applicants should apply to an institution
in New Zealand;(iii) Applicants should not be serving in a military;
(iv) Applicant should NOT be older than 39 years during application;
(v) English Language Requirement: Applicant will be required to
provide evidence of proficiency in English.
3.0 Area of specialization:
All
applicants should align their specializations to the following sector:-
Ø Good Governance
* Governance
services: Public policy, Public management, Policy and Governance.
Ø Climate change and
Resilience;
Ø Food Security and Agriculture
* Agribusiness;
* Farm
Management;
* Agricultural
technology;
* Dairy
systems;
* Agriculture
and/or Horticulture management;
* Rural
development;
* Supply
chain management.
Ø Renewable Energy
* Geothermal,
solar, Hydro-electric and wind Energy;
* Energy
Engineering;
* Renewable
Energy Distribution systems.
* Market
reform and sector management including Energy Economics.
* Energy
efficiency.
Note
* All
Applicants should fill application form in English, writingclearly using black or blue pen.

4.0 Mode of Application
The
application form is attached herewith. NEW ZEALAND COMMONWEALTH SCHOLARSHIP 2019 FORM
Employed
applicants MUST attach a letter from their employers confirming that, if
granted scholarship will be allowed to utilize this opportunity.
In
order to be nominated, all applicants must submit two sets of the following:-
1.
Completely filled
application form;
2.
Certified copy of birth
certificate;
3.
Certified copies of academic
certificates and transcripts;
4.
Certified copy of Passport page
of bio data;
5.
Two reference letters.
Deadline
for submission of the application is 28th March, 2019.
