NAIBU WAZIRI OLE NASHA ASEMA SERIKALI IMEJIZATITI KUIMARISHA ELIMU NCHINI


Serikali ya awamu ya Tano imesema miongoni mwa vipaumbele vyake ni pamoja na kuimarisha na kuboresha Elimu nchini na ndiyo maana sekta hiyo imetengewa fedha nyingi katika bajeti ya Taifa.

Kauli hiyo ya serikali imetolewa na Naibu Waziri wa Elimu, Sayansi na Teknolojia Mhe. William Ole Nasha mkoani Morogoro wakati akizungumza na viongozi mbalimbali wanaosimamia Elimu katika mkoa huo na kueleza kuwa kwa sasa Tanzania ni nchi inayosifiwa kwa kuongeza bajeti ya Elimu kwa asilimia 21.4 ya bajeti ya jumla ya Taifa.
 
“Ninachoweza kusema kwa sasa Wizara ya Elimu, Sayansi na Teknolojia kwa mwaka inapokea bajeti yake ambayo ni sh trilioni 1.4 na kwenye fedha za Maendeleo zinapatikana zote kwa asilimia 100 kwa ajili ya kutekeleza shughuli za Elimu bila kuchelewa yote haya ni kwa sababu Sekta ya Elimu ni kipaumbele cha Serikali ya Awamu ya Tano,” aliongeza Naibu Waziri Ole Nasha
Naibu Waziri wa Elimu, Sayansi na Teknolojia William ole Nasha akiongea na viongozi wa elimu katika Halmashauri ya Wilaya ya Mvomero mara baada ya kuwasili katika Halmashauri hiyo kukagua miradi ya Elimu.

 Amesema katika miaka mitatu ya uongozi wa Serikali ya Awamu ya Tano kumefanyika uwekezaji mkubwa wa miundombinu ya Elimu kuliko wakati wowote na kuwataka watendaji wa sekta hiyo kusimamia fedha zinazotolewa kwa ajili ya miradi ya Maendeleo ya Elimu kwa umakini ili kuweza kubadilisha mazingira ya watoto ya kujifunzia.

 “Wote ni mashahidi kuhusu ujenzi wa miundombinu ya Elimu inayoendelea nchini, Juzi mmeona Mhe.  Rais John Magufuli akifungua maktaba kubwa kuliko maktaba zote Afrika Mashariki na Kati, maktaba yenye uwezo wa kuchukua vitabu laki nane na wanafunzi 2,100 kwa wakati mmoja lakini pia kwenye vyuo vya ufundi na shule pia kuna uwekezaji mkubwa ambao umefanyika wa kuboresha miundombinu ya kufundishia na kujifunzia vyote hivyo ni kwa sababu sekta ya Elimu ni kipaumbele,” alisisitiza Ole Nasha
Naibu Waziri wa Elimu, Sayansi na Teknolojia William ole Nasha akikagua mradi wa ujenzi ya sekondari ya Kumbukumbu ya Sokoine inayojengwa katika Halmashauri ya Wilaya ya Mvomero, mkoani Morogoro. Yanayoonekana hapo ni madarasa ambayo yatakuwa katika mfumo wa ghorofa. 

Naibu Waziri Ole Nasha yuko mkoani Morogoro kwa ziara ya kikazi ya siku tatu na kuwa ziara hiyo inatarajiwa kuhitimishwa leo.
Naibu Waziri wa Elimu, Sayansi na Teknolojia William ole Nasha akikagua majengo ya Chuo cha Ualimu Ilongo kilichopo Halmashauri ya Wilaya ya Kilosa ambayo miundombinu yake imefanyiwa ukarabati na Wizara ya Elimu, Sayansi na Teknolojia kupitia Programu ya EP4R.

WAZIRI MKUU MAJALIWA ASISITIZA MATUMIZI YA TEHAMA KATIKA SEKTA YA ELIMU


Waziri Mkuu wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania Kassim Majaliwa amesema  Teknolojia ya Habari na Mawasiliano(TEHAMA) ikitumika vizuri katika sekta ya elimu itasaidia kujenga mazingira mazuri na kuwezesha kuwepo kwa mbinu bora katika ufundishaji na ujifunzaji.

Waziri Mkuu Majaliwa ametoa kauli hiyo jijini Dar Es Salaam katika halfa ya utoaji wa tuzo  kwa washindi wa mashindano ya Teknolojia ya Habari na Mawasiliano kwa mwaka 2018 yaliyoandaliwa na Taasisi ya Huawei Tanzania, na kusisitiza kuwa  kutumia TEHAMA katika ufundishaji na ujifunzaji Mwalimu  mmoja anaweza kufundisha wanafunzi wengi waliosehemu tofauti.


Waziri Mkuu wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania Kassim Majaliwa akimkabidhi zawadi mshindi wa kwanza wa mashindano ya TEHAMA yaliyoandaliwa na Huawei Tanzania Emannuel Chaula kutoka Chuo Kikuu cha Dar es Salaam.

Mhe. Majaliwa amewataka wanafunzi kutumia fursa ya mashindano hayo kuendelea kujifunza TEHAMA ili wewe na  uwezo wa kumiliki mifumo  ambayo itasaidia nchi katika kurahisisha utendaji wa shughuli zake kupitia sayansi na Teknolojia

Aidha, Waziri Mkuu Majaliwa amesema serikali inaendelea kuunganisha mkongo wa Taifa wa Mawasiliano kwenye taasisi zake ili kufanikisha azma ya serikali ya kurahisisha utendaji kazi.

Akizungumza katika hafla hiyo Waziri wa Elimu, Sayansi naTeknolojia Prof. Joyce Ndalichako amewataka vijana walioshiriki katika mashindano hayo kuendelea kujifunza zaidi kwani nchi bado inahitaji Maendeleo katika kipindi ambacho serikali imekusudia kujenga uchumi wa viwanda.


Waziri wa Elimu, Sayansi na Teknolojia Prof. Joyce Ndalichako akimkabidhi mmoja wa washindi wa mashindano ya TEHAMA tuzo katika hafla ya utoaji wa tuzo kwa washindi wa mashindano ya TEHAMA iliyofanyika jijini Dar es Salaam ambapo amewataka vijana walioshiriki katika mashindano hayo kuendelea kujifunza zaidi.

Naye Mkurugenzi Mkuu wa HUAWEI Tanzania Frank Zhou amesema kabla ya vijana hao kuingia katika mashindano hayo walipatiwa mafunzo ili kuwawezesha kuzitambua Teknolojia za kisasa kwa kuwa Teknolojia  inakua kila siku.

Mashindano hayo ya TEHAMA yalianza na  vijana  500 lakini mpaka mwishoni vijana 10  tu ndio wamefanikiwa kushinda ambapo washindi watatu wa juu wanatarajiwa kwenda katika nchi za Afrika Kusini na China kwa lengo la kujifunza zaidi masuala ya TEHAMA.

OLE NASHA AWATAKA WALIMU KUBADILI MBINU ZA UFUNDISHAJI

Naibu Waziri wa Elimu, Sayansi na Teknolojia William Ole Nasha amewataka walimu nchini kote kuachana na aina ya zamani ya ufundishaji na badala yake watumie mbinu za kisasa ili kusaidia kumuandaa mwanafunzi aweze kuendana na mabadiliko ya Sayansi na Teknolojia.

Mheshimiwa Ole Nasha ameyasema hayo mkoani Morogoro wakati wa ziara ya kikazi ya kukagua miradi ya Elimu na kuongea na Viongozi wa Elimu ngazi ya Mkoa ambapo amesisitiza kuwa Elimu ya sasa ni ile ambayo inaendeshwa na matumizi ya Tehama, uongozi mzuri na kubadili mtizamo wa Elimu kutoka katika utaratibu ule ambao mwanafunzi anakuwa mtu wa kupokea na kwenda kwenye mfumo ambapo mwanafunzi anategemewa kushiriki zoezi la ufundishaji.
Naibu Waziri wa Elimu, Sayansi na Teknolojia William Ole Nasha akikagua samani katika Majengo ya Taasisi ya Elimu ya Watu Wazima yaliyojengwa Wamo Mkoani Morogoro.

Naibu Waziri huyo pia amesema katika vyuo mfumo unaotumika ni ule wa kumuandaa mwanafunzi kwenda kuajiriwa badala ya kujiajiri mwenyewe hali ambayo inabidi kubadilika ili vijana waweze kumaliza wakiwa wenye maarifa ya kwenda kutatua changamoto zilizopo katika jamii.

“Katika vyuo vyetu, mfumo wa sasa unaotumika unawafundisha wanafunzi kama watu wa kwenda kufanya kazi baadae badala ya kufundisha watu wa kwenda kutengeneza ajira na ndio maana mwanafunzi akimaliza chuo anakuja ofisini anasubiri umpe kazi, hiyo siyo sawa lazima Elimu yetu iwe ni ya kujenga maarifa ya kujitegemea“ alisisitiza Mhe. Naibu Waziri wa Elimu, Sayansi na Teknolojia William Ole Nasha akizungumza na wanafunzi wanaosoma katika Taasisi ya Elimu ya Watu Wazima iliyoko Wamo mjini Morogoro.  

Naibu Waziri Ole Nasha pia amewataka viongozi wa mkoa wa Morogoro kufuatilia kwa karibu miradi ya Elimu inayotekelezwa katika mkoa huo ili kuhakikisha inakamilika kwa wakati na kwa viwango vinavyokubalika.

Kwa upande wake Afisa Elimu Mkoa wa Morogoro Joyce Balavuga alimweleza Naibu Waziri wa Elimu kuwa mkoa wa Morogoro uko mstari wa mbele kuhamasisha matumizi ya Tehama katika ujifunzaji na ufundishaji katika shule zake ili kuinua kiwango cha ufaulu, kutunza kumbukumbu na takwimu mbalimbali za Elimu.

1.       This Invitation for Tender follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) which appeared on PPRA website online on 02nd October, 2018.

2.       Ministry of Education, Science & Technology has set aside fund towards the cost to improve quality of Education and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this fund to cover eligible payments under the contract for the Supply of Office Equipment for School Quality Assurance Department.

3.       The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science & Technology now invites sealed tenders from eligible suppliers as tabulated below:-

       Tenderers are required to quote for one lot, two lots or all lots but in any case Tenderers are required to quote for all items and quantities specified in each lot.  Tenderers who do not quote for all items and quantities will be considered non responsive and rejected in evaluation.

  1. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (NCT) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 and are open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
5.       Interested eligible Tenders may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of Tender Board, Ministry of Education, Science & Technology, College of Business Studies and Law, University of Dodoma, (UDOM), Block 10, P.O Box 10 - 40479 Dodoma, Office number 320 from 0900 to 1500 hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.

6.       A complete set of Tendering Document (s) in English and additional sets may be   purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tzs. 100,000/= (Tanzania Shillings: One Hundred Thousand Only), Payment should be done through Government e- Payment Gateway (Gepg) where the tender should get control number at office room No.327, at Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.

7.       All Tenders for Lots 1, 2 & 3 must be accompanied by a Tender Security in an acceptable form in the amount of TZS. 5,000,000.00 (Tanzanian shillings Five million) for each lot.

  1. All tenders in one original plus two copies properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the Secretary of Tender Board, Ministry of Education, Science & Technology, College of Business Studies and Law, University of Dodoma, (UDOM), Block 10, P.O Box 10 – 40479 Dodoma, Room 320 at or before 10.00 local hours on 18th December,2018. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Conference Room, Ground Floor, Ministry of Education, Science & Technology, College of Business Studies and Law, University of Dodoma, (UDOM), Block 10, P.O Box 10 – 40479 Dodoma.

9.       Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.

DKT. AKWILAPO AWATAKA WAHITIMU WA ADEM KUBORESHA UTENDAJI KAZI

Leonard Akwilapo amewataka Walimu waliohitimu mafunzo  katika fani za uongozi katika Elimu na Uthibiti Ubora wa Shule kuhakikisha wanatumia maarifa na mbinu sahihi katika kutekeleza majukumu kwa lengo la kuboresha utendaji kazi ili kuliletea Taifa maendeleo.

Dkt Akwilapo ameyasema hayo wakati wa mahafali ya 26 ya Chuo Cha Maendeleo ya Uongozi wa Elimu, ADEM Wilayani Bagamoyo mkoani Pwani ambapo zaidi ya wahitimu 1000 wamehitimi mafunzo yao.

Amewataka wahitimu hao kuhakikisha kuwa wanaenda kufundisha pamoja na kuhakikisha wanawalinda na kusimamia haki za watoto  kwa mujibu wa Sheria.

“Mategemeo ni kuongezeka kwa utendaji kazi, ikiwa ni pamoja na wanafunzi kuhudhuria shule, kiwango cha ufaulu kuongezeka   pamoja na kubaini changamoto zinazowakabili wanafunzi na kuzipatia ufumbuzi kwa utaratibu unaofaa,”alisema Dkt. Akwilapo.
Katibu Mkuu akizungumza na wahitimu hawapo pichani wakati wa mahafali ya 26 katika Chuo cha ADEM, Wilayani Bagamoyo Mkoani Pwani.

Dkt. Akwilapo amewataka wahitimu hao  kujenga mahusiano na  mazingira mazuri kati ya shule na Jamii, kuhakikisha  umoja unakuwepo kati ya pande  zote tatu kwa maana ya walimu, wanafunzi na wazazi na  eneo hilo likifanikiwa basi Elimu yetu itakuwa imefanikiwa. 


Akizungumza katika mahafali hayo  Mtendaji Mkuu wa ADEM Dkt. Siston Masanja  amesema Chuo hicho kinawajibu wa kutoa mafunzo na   ushauri wenye lengo ka kuboresha Elimu nchini, huku akiendelee kuiomba Wizara kutenga fedha  kwa ajili ya  kuboresha miundombinu ya Chuo hicho.

SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE 2019 UNITED NATIONS OFFICE FOR OUTER SPACE AFFAIRS (UNOOSA) POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA (PGD) PROGRAMME IN SPACE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY AT ARCSSTE-E, OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY, ILE-IFE, OSUN STATE

Call for Application
The General Public is hereby informed that, the African Regional Centre for Space Science and Technology Education in English (ARCSSTE-E) in the Federal Republic Nigeria is inviting applications for Postgraduate Diploma programme (PGD) in Space Science and Technology Scholarships to Tanzanian Citizens. Successful candidates will be required to pursue their studies in various PGD programmes for 9 months. Nominated applicants will be enrolled in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in the Federal Republic of Nigeria for the academic year 2019.
The PDG courses offered are
(i)                 Remote Sensing/GIS
(ii)              Basic Space and Atmospheric Science
(iii)            Satellite Communications
(iv)            Satellite Meteorology
(v)              Global Navigation Satellite Systems
General Admission Requirements
1.      An applicant must have bachelor degree in Physics, applied Geophysics, Meteorology, Geology, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science and Geography, Remote Sensing/GIS, or any other Science related course from any recognized University or Institution.

2.      Documents to be attached with application form should include certified copies of:-
(i)              Bachelor’s degree certificates;
(ii)           Academic Transcript;
(iii)         Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE);
(iv)            Certificate for Secondary School Examination (CSEE);
(v)           Birth Certificate; and,
(vi)            Medical report form
Tuition Fees
The Tuition fee for the PGD programme is N250,000, however the Centre offers full sponsorship covering Tuition fee, accommodation and return flights tickets provided by UNOOSA for foreign participants
